RETURNS & SHIPPING
PACKAGING ON DELIVERY
Your bag will be carefully packaged and filled with paper. This helps to maintain its shape and provide optimal protection for the leather during transport and storage.
During quieter periods, we remove the protective paper in advance. During busier times, such as SALE, the paper may still be present in the bag. You can easily remove it yourself.
We recommend letting the bag rest for a while afterwards, so that the leather can naturally regain its shape.
COOLING-OFF PERIOD & RETURN POLICY
You have 14 days to change your mind after receiving your order, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
For a valid return shipment, the item must:
- unworn and undamaged
- in new condition
- has original labels
- will be returned in the original packaging
Items purchased from one of our retailers cannot be returned via our webshop.
Once we have received your return in good order, we will refund the purchase amount within 7 working days via the original payment method.
REGISTER YOUR RETURN VIA THE RETURN PORTAL
With your order, you will receive a packing slip with a QR code. By scanning this code, you will be taken directly to the correct return portal.
Is the QR code not working? Then you can go directly to the returns portal via the links below. Please make sure you select the portal that corresponds to the country of delivery, otherwise your order number will not be recognized.

You can create a shipping label and pay immediately via the returns portal. Once payment has been completed, you will receive the return label by email. For shipments outside the EU, the necessary customs documents will also be sent.
Return shipments outside the EU can only be sent with FedEx. Within the EU, you can select a carrier yourself via the portal.
Most carriers do not require a printer. You show the barcode on your phone at the drop-off point and the label will be printed for you there.
RETURNS IN STORE
Online orders can also be returned free of charge at our store in De Negen Straatjes in Amsterdam.
RETURNS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE EU
The return portal is available for both European and non-European orders.
For returns outside the European Union, shipping costs, import duties, and any import or export costs will not be reimbursed upon refund.
The customer is responsible for the return shipment at all times. SMAAK is not liable for loss, delay, damage, or additional costs incurred during the return process.
SHIPPING COSTS
For orders over €150, you pay no shipping costs.
If you order multiple items and return some or all of them, resulting in the final purchase amount being less than €150, the original shipping costs will still be charged.
