Packing on delivery

When you receive your bag, it is carefully wrapped in paper. We do this to keep the bag in good shape and protected during storage and transportation.

During quiet periods, we often already remove the protective paper for you. During busier times, such as SALE, this may not be possible. No worries: you can easily remove the paper yourself.

Tip: let your bag "breathe" for a while afterward. The leather will mold itself back nicely - think of it as a short beauty sleep for your bag!

• United Kingdom: free shipping from £150
• United States: free shipping from $230 (approx. €200)
• Rest of the World: free shipping from $230 (approx. €200)

Notice: If you order multiple items and return (part of) them, causing the final purchase amount to fall below the free shipping threshold, shipping costs will still be charged.

United States

New customs regulations have been in effect since August 29, 2025. As a result, import duties and taxes are always charged (on average USD 80–200, depending on the order value).

We will cover the import duties. Please note, however, that regional taxes may apply; these are the responsibility of the recipient. FedEx Express will collect these charges directly upon delivery.

Due to current circumstances, we are unfortunately unable to ship orders to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at this time. 

Delivery Times & Availability

• Stock items: shipping within 2-4 business days
• If your order is unexpectedly delayed or an item is not immediately available, we will let you know by email within a few days.

Important

• Smaak Retail B.V. is not liable for courier delays or consequential damage caused by exceeding delivery times.
• Did you receive an incomplete order? Please report this within 7 days. Damaged items must also be reported within 7 days and returned to us within 14 days.
• Smaak Retail B.V. is not liable for any import duties, taxes or customs fees charged by local authorities outside the European Union. These charges vary by country and are entirely the responsibility of the recipient.

Return Policy

Return costs by country:

• Netherlands: €5. 
• Belgium & Germany: €8.50 
• Other EU: €12.50
• Outside the EU: at your own expense and risk

For returns outside the EU, customers are fully responsible for shipping and additional costs (shipping, import and/or export costs). These will not be refunded.

Return fees are automatically charged when a return label is created in our portal.

SALE

During SALE and promotions, delivery time may be longer than usual.
